Body-Mind Empowered Eating


Having worked as an Anti-Diet Health and Mindset Coach, Nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer with women from all around the world for years, I've come to realize that many of us struggle with a common challenge: 

A compulsive response to our biological, mental, emotional, and environmental triggers. 

It's like we're passengers in our own bodies, constantly being hijacked by cravings and impulses that we can't seem to control. 


And I knew I had to create a method that would give you the tools to get back into the driver's seat of your body, so you could support it to achieve your health and wellness goals. 


And that's how the B-MEE Method was born. 


My method empowers you to identify the correct trigger behind your cravings and impulses, so you can disarm your compulsion to reach for food and start making choices that truly serve your body and mind.  


Unlike other programs that may only focus exclusively on one or maybe two triggers, such as emotional or binge eating, the B-MEE Method includes all four. 


By understanding these four triggers that influence your eating habits and shifting the focus away from the food itself to addressing each trigger, you can develop a personalized plan that fits your unique needs and empowers you to make lasting changes.





Disarming the 4 Primary Triggers of Compulsive Eating 

The B-MEE Method addresses the 4 primary triggers of compulsive eating.


These triggers create hardwired pathways in your brain that when triggered lead to overwhelming food cravings, mindless eating, binge eating, emotional eating and only get stronger over time.

Using the B-MEE Method, you'll learn how to identify and disarm the correct trigger, and rewire your brain to create new pathways that support your empowered eating vision. 


Biological

Triggered by physical restriction, restrictive diets, intermittent fasting, skipping meals, undereating, etc. This shows up with an overwhelming impulse to eat everything - you feel out of control and eat in a frenzy. 


STOP relying on external rules and advice to decide what, when and how much you should eat.


START to tune into your innate body wisdom instead. Use interoceptive awareness mindfulness techniques.


Mental

Triggered by eating something that you deem to be bad, toxic, or on the do not eat list - you think 'what the heck' and eat everything, promising yourself to start again tomorrow. 


STOP creating good and bad food lists and dichotomous thinking that makes you good or bad based on what you eat.


START to tune in and challenge your 'food police' in your head. Use interoceptive awareness mindfulness techniques.


Emotional

Triggered by feelings and emotions you can't feel or process - you know it's emotional when food doesn't satisfy you, and you might find yourself jumping from sweet to savory trying to 'hit the spot'. 


STOP allowing food to get between you and your feelings.


START to tune into your feelings and name them using a Feelings Wheel. Use interoceptive awareness mindfulness techniques.


Environmental

Triggered by time, place or people. Because your memories are contextual - you will feel a desire to eat when you find yourself back in certain situations. An example of this is at 'this time' I always reach for 'this'. 


STOP trying to fight these impulses. 


START to understand that it's just your brain reminding you what you ate last time you were in this 'time, place or people' and then get out of your head as quickly as possible! Use exteroceptive awareness mindfulness techniques.
